Coffee Table Book Software
- A coffee table, also called a cocktail table, is a style of long, low table which is designed to be placed in front of a sofa, to support beverages (hence the name), magazines, feet, books (especially coffee table books), and other small items to be used while sitting, such as coasters.

(Coffee Tables) While any small and low table can be, and is, called a coffee table, the term is applied particularly to the sets of three or four tables made from about 1790; of which the latter were called 'quartetto tables'.

Last year, God sent a reward for the slogging I had done, as a fully-paid trip, which was part of my photo-assignment I got to do for a tour operator in Egypt.
It just so happened that one day, a friend came to visit us who had just finished her software assignment in Egypt. On hearing her exciting narration about her holiday like work in Egypt, my wife expressed her desire to visit Egypt saying that it is her childhood dream to visit Egypt oneday. Which I never knew, but I also had fascination about the great cultural heritage of Egypt and the Nile. On this, I said that if a person keeps its dream alive and works on it a bit, of course without losing sleep over it, then sooner or later `dream comes true' for sure. But there is only one condition - whatever work you do, put in hundred percent with your heart and soul into it. I started my still photography only in November 2005 at the famous Pushkar Cattle Fair. Eversince, I have worked day and night passionately. The result has been that two rewards fell into my lap - photographer a reputed a coffee table book of the Indian Army, which got completed in less than one year and the two weeks of fully paid holiday in Egypt. No words can express our joy, which we had on this holiday. We had fallen in love with the Nile, which we saw very closely from the window of our cabin of cruise ship for more than a week. The blue water of the Nile and the stories of the Pharos are all mesmerising. We had about ten days of the Nile cruise. Its a great place for travellers and photographers.

I have about 250 reasonable shot from Egypt trip.

Here's my entry for Meredith Farkas' "Social Software in Libraries Alternate Book Cover Contast." OK, so it wouldn't really fit on a normal book cover. More of a coffee table book cover. But you get the idea.
